SHAMF at Mash Park Oct 3-4

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Sag Harbor American Music Festival Announces Collaboration with Mashashimuet Park; Festival to Take Place October 3 & 4

Three stages, free admission, rain or shine, 10:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m. both days; full schedule coming soon to sagharbormusic.org

SAG HARBOR, NY — September 26, 2026 — The Sag Harbor American Music Festival (SHAMF) today announced a new collaboration with Mashashimuet Park, which will host the festival next weekend, Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., rain or shine. The festival has been shortened from the previously announced October 1–4 dates.

The rescheduled festival will feature three main stages, all on the park's grounds: the Provisions Tent Stage, the WLIW-FM Stage, and the Sag Harbor Express Stage.

"We're so grateful to Mashashimuet Park for their enthusiastic support. Bringing the festival together in one place, with three stages, means our community can enjoy a full weekend of free music after this nor-easter storm setback. We can't wait to see everyone there." said Kelly Dodds, President & Co-artistic Director.

"Bringing people together is at the heart of what Mashashimuet Park was created for. After the storm delay, we're especially glad to offer a place where families, friends and neighbors can gather for a weekend of free music," said Brian DeSesa, President of the Mashashimuet Park Board.

Organizers are finalizing the free-music schedule, which will be announced shortly and posted on sagharbormusic.org.

What attendees need to know:

  • The festival will take place Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Mashashimuet Park, rain or shine
  • Please note: the festival has been shortened from the previously announced October 1–4 dates, and there will be no performances on October 1 or 2
  • There will be no festival related performances in Steinbeck Park, Marine Park or the Alley next to the American Hotel or any other village location
  • Performances will be on three stages: the Provisions Tent Stage, the WLIW Stage, and the Sag Harbor Express Stage
  • All performances are free and open to the public
  • The full schedule will be posted at sagharbormusic.org and shared via @sagharbormusic as soon as it is available

Festival organizers thank Mashashimuet Park, along with the Sag Harbor community, artists, and partners, for their continued support, flexibility and understanding throughout the revision process.
